The 2022 Pinty’s Knights of Thunder 360 Sprint Car Series season is set to get underway, while the Crate Sprint Car teams from the Action Sprint Tour fueled by Pinty’s will continue their season on July 1st.
The Knights of Thunder season will kick off with a $2,000-to-win event on Thursday, June 30 at Humberstone Speedway, and shift to Ohsweken Speedway for the $10,000-to-win 16th Running of the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals on Friday, July 1; each of the 30 A-Main starters at the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals will earn at least $1,000. Defending KoT champion Jordan Poirier swept all five races held at Humberstone last season and will look to keep his streak alive on Thursday, while the series will visit Ohsweken Speedway for the first time on Friday.

The Action Sprint Tour will also compete at Humberstone on Thursday and Ohsweken on Friday. Defending champion Jacob Dykstra won the AST opener on June 11 at Merrittville Speedway and leads the standings ahead of Darren Dryden, Allan Downey, Austin Roes, and Brett Stratford.
