Gildford, Ontario’s Dario Caprichio Coming to Take Varcoe’s $10,000 for 2022 Mike Parsons Laird Raceway Memorial (ON)

On the August 26 and 27 weekend, Laird Raceway will hosting the 2022 Mike Parsons Memorial Super Late Model race weekend with $10,000 up for grabs to the checkered flag. Gilford, Ontario driver Dario Caprichio who pilots the Jenco Equipment #03 Super Late Model will be attending the weekend.

The 30 year racing veteran raves the Ontario Super Late Model Series this summer winning every division that he has competed in. The Gilford native has been a top qualifier in 2022 and have an awesome car that just needs some luck to their way to take home the checkered flag. Caprichio’s favourite track to race would be Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario with distance from home is just around the corner for Dario.

When Rev It Up Racing asked Dario why they chose to come to Laird in late August, the Gildford, Ontario said that “it would be awesome to come up there and get my first feature win in a super at a first time track for me and the money would be much appreciated more tracks need to put up big money and hopefully get the support it deserves.”

The SUPER LATE MODELS will headline the weekend with a 73-Lap Feature paying $10,000 to WIN. In addition, $ 4, 000 for 2nd, $ 2,500 for 3rd, $1,400 for 4th and $ 1,000 to start ($250 tow money) for 5th through 20th.

“We decided to come to Laird to take Donnie Varcoe’s money and its always nice to travel somewhere new and put our knowledge to use to figure out a new track,” added Caprichio.
