Ethan Courneyea of Innisfil, Ontario is the next driver to commit to come to Northern Ontario for the August 26 and 27 weekend to compete at the 2022 Mike Parsons Memorial Super Late Model $10,000 weekend at Laird Raceway.

Courneyea is joining Gilford, Ontario #03 Dario Caprichio for the exciting big payday in Northern Ontario. The Simcoe Barge and Breakwall sponsored Super Late Model driver who has been racing for the last ten years will take time out of his 2022 Ontario Outaw Super Series schedule to make to trip to Laird Raceway for the 2022 season finale. The #51 driver sits fourth in the 2022 Ontario Outaw Super Series heading into August 26 and 27 weekend.

The Innisfil native told Rev It Up Racing that he has decided to come up north to “Come try out the track and to support the teams that come down this way to run with us.”

When asked about what it mean to bring home the $10,000, Courneyea said “It would mean a lot for me and a lot more for the guys that come to work on the car. that’s a few cases of beer we can buy to celebrate!”

The SUPER LATE MODELS will headline the weekend with a 73-Lap Feature paying $10,000 to WIN. In addition, $ 4, 000 for 2nd, $ 2,500 for 3rd, $1,400 for 4th and $ 1,000 to start ($250 tow money) for 5th through 20th on August 26 and 27 at Laird Raceway.
